Community board update

The community board is in. It’s in its initial state, but it’s functional and it’s already got a piece I’m pretty happy with. Integration with the piece tracker.

You can post directly to the board, or post straight from your piece tracker, pulling a piece you’ve already logged right into a board post. Posts can include text, images, or a linked piece from your tracker.

What’s working

• Posting text and images to the board
• Posting directly from the piece tracker
• Linking a tracked piece into a board post

What needs work

• Pieces linked from the tracker only show up as a thumbnail right now with no extra detail or interaction. I want that to feel like a real post, not just an image.
• Sharing photos of finished pieces on their own, separate from what’s logged in the tracker.
• Linking glaze combos from the mixer into a board post is not built yet.

What I need from you

This is still early days for the board. I’d love general feedback on how it feels to use, and any ideas for fine-tuning these features. Especially the piece tracker integration, since that’s the core of where this is headed.
